I’m Back! Please Join Me at Winter Cottage

I’m Back! Please Join Me at Winter Cottage

Cover of Mary Ellen Taylor's Novel Winter CottageWelcome to Winter Cottage!

Winter Cottage is my new novel, debuting September 25th. While it’s been a bit of a wait as I focused elsewhere, I’m loving being back, digging deep into women’s lives, relationships, aspirations and strengths. Lucy Kincaid is the catalyst for Winter Cottage as her search for home takes her to her late mother’s small, coastal hometown, where secrets, love and mystery await. It’s not only Lucy’s story, however. She’s one of three generations of women, all linked , whose lives and loves entwine with the history of the house, her mother’s secret past and an unmarked grave.

Please join me on Virginia’s beautiful Eastern Shore this fall. It’s one of my favorite getaways in my home state.   Until then, I hope you’ll enjoy this excerpt and keep in touch on social media.

“Margaret’s Favorite Brownies . . . ” as Seen on Virginia This Morning!

As promised, here’s the recipe for “Margaret’s Favorite Brownies with Raspberry Sauce” shared earlier this week on WTVT-TV’s Virginia this Morning. It was great fun talking with host Cheryl Miller about THE VIEW FROM PRINCE STREET but possibly even more fun mixing it up in the kitchen with her.

Me Talking “Prince Street” over at CBS 6’s Virginia This Morning

What fun today!  I was invited over to WTVT-TV’s Virginia this Morning to talk about my new Alexandria novel, THE VIEW FROM PRINCE STREET, where I spent time with host Cheryl Miller (always a pleasure!) and had a chance to say  hello to folks like Torri Strickland, the show’s producer, and others I’ve gotten to know during my visits.

Tomorrow, I’ll share the second segment in which Cheryl and I make Margaret McCrae’s often requested, aptly named “Margaret’s Favorite Brownies with Raspberry Sauce.”  And I’ll include the recipe, of course!
